Starting Point: Penrith Panthers front carpark - south-eastern corner - near the main advertising pylon.

Route: From Panthers at Penrith to Picton and Appin - with a 45 minute refresh stop at the Appin Hotel - return to Panthers. Social elements are still to be determined.

Who Is Chloe and Why Ride For Chloe?

In 2018 we had our first Ride for Chloe. Chloe Closs has just turned 2 and she was in a battle against an aggressive and rare cancer.

Our goal was to take some of the ongoing financial worries away from the family so the real battle could be their main focus.

Sadly, on September 17th - 5 weeks before that Ride - brave little Chloe lost her battle with this dreadful illness.  The Disciples For Christ decided to have annual fundraising Memorial Ride for Chloe. We hope you will join us a help carry her name, spirit and bravery into the continuing fight against childhood cancers.

Chloe's battle was with a rare and very aggressive cancer - Rhomboid Meningioma "Metastic Cancer" Stage 4.  It put her through intensive rounds of medical interventions - long periods of chemo, operations to remove tumors and she has lost a kidney and ovary.

Our aim is to keep the memory of Chloe Coss alive and to create an ongoing legacy to continue her fight against childhood cancer.

Every dollar we raise will be donated to the Steven Walter Children's Cancer Foundation. This will be done via a cheque presentation at the end of the Steve Walter Annual Snowy Ride on 2nd November 2019.
